The WPA is a national organization of window preservation professionals. Their aim is to connect those who wish to save their windows with professionals who can provide the needed services, demystifying the process of finding the appropriate materials and products for window restoration. They also introduce those considering window restoration as a career to professionals. The goal is to help preservationists find the tools they need to educate building owners, architects, and other decision makers about the value of original windows.
Did you know that a rehabbed historic window with a storm window is as efficient as a modern replacement window? And, it can be repaired in the future as needed, unlike modern windows that are designed to be unrepairable and will have to be replaced again and again.
