I was in New Orleans for the Society for Historic Archeology conference in January 2018 and was determined to get out and get photos for the architectural styles examples in Chapter 2 of Restoring Your Historic House, The Comprehensive Guide for Homeowners.
With only a few hours available, I power-walked to and through the French Quarter and Garden District snapping photos of good examples of different styles. In that context of amazing houses, this is one of the houses that stood out. I was pleased to get a reasonably good photo even though the late afternoon light was not ideal.
