The home was remodeled c. 1884 in the Queen-Anne-style that combined modern conveniences and technological innovations of the day with a nostalgic styling that recalled an earlier, less industrial time. Today, the rooms of the Grundy Museum are appointed as if the family has just stepped out for the afternoon.

Bradbury & Bradbury was established in 1979 to produce hand-printed Victorian wall and ceiling papers. In the decades since, the line has expanded to include papers up to the Mid-Century Modern period. Bradbury & Bradbury generously provided photos of their production process for Chapter 18 of Restoring Your Historic House, The Comprehensive Guide for Homeowners.
