Restored 1890’s Bathroom

A Restored Bathroom of the 1890’s. When this Colonial Revival summer “cottage” was built in 1897, it had the most modern conveniences of the age including several bathrooms.

When the house was restored, most of the original bathroom fixtures were retained, including this cast iron clawfoot tub which was fitted with new faucets to provide a hand-held sprayer.
