The MacPheadris – Warner House

The MacPheadris – Warner House in Portsmouth, New Hampshire is a spectacular example of early Georgian Colonial architecture, built c. 1716. It was rescued from pending demolition and opened as a house museum in 1932 and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1960. Among other outstanding features, it contains the earliest known Anglo-American murals.
